Anyone Could Fall In Love Tonight

There's April in the air it seems, I don't know my own heart
To let the moonlight get me so, might not be very smart
But every old cliche I know is somehow sounding right
Anyone could fall in love tonight

The night is like a cherry tree, with roots all dark and deep
I've smelled its blossoms many times, but never quite this sweet
When I inhale the darkness pales, I'm standing in the light
Anyone could fall in love,
Anyone could fall in love,
Anyone could fall ...

(Tonight) I will open my arms and accept what the universe sends me
(Tonight) I won't fear any harm I'll just laugh as the magic mends me
(Tonight) I am way too far gone to put up any kind of a fight
Anyone could fall in love tonight

Tonight just open up your eyes, and see things as they are
And beauty will rain down on you, a thousand falling stars
And if you keep from blinking, you might see me shining bright
Anyone could fall in love,
Anyone could fall in love,
Anyone could fall in love tonight ...
tonight ...
tonight
