Drug Uses
Bactrim is an antibiotic combination containing a sulfonamide antibiotic and is used for treatment of infections caused be certain bacteria.
How Taken
Use Bactrim with or without a meal. It is recommended to take it at the same time every day followed by a glass of clear water. Drink several extra glasses of water, unless otherwise recommended by your [[doctor|physician]. Do not stop taking Bactrim without your physician`s approval, even if you feel better.
More Information
Bactrim can cause you to become more sensitive to the sunlight. Avoid the sun, sunlamps, or tanning booths until you know how you respond to this drug. Use a sunscreen or wear protective clothing if you must be outside for more than a short time. Do not share this drug with others for whom it was not directed. Do not use this medicine for other health conditions. If your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen, consult your doctor.
