Drug Uses
Zithromax is used for curing of infections caused by certain bacteria. It may also be used for other situations as advised by your physician.
How Taken
Take Zithromax as prescribed by your doctor. To clear up your infection completely, take Macrobid for the full course of curing. Keep taking it even if you feel better in a few days. Failure to do so can decrease the effectiveness of this curing and can increase the risk that the bacteria will no longer sensitive to Zithromax and will not be able to be treated by this or certain other antibacterial drugs in the future.
Additional Information
Zithromax can cause drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision, or lightheadedness. These effects may worsen if Zithromax is taken with alcohol or certain other medications. Take Zithromax with caution. Do not drive or perform other possibly dangerous tasks until you know how you react to this product. If your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen, call your doctor. This drug should be used only by the patient for whom it has been directed. Don't use less or more or use it more often than prescribed by your doctor.
