Drug Uses
Paracetamol is used for treatment of mild to medium pain due to headache, muscle aches, backache, joint pain, arthritis, the common cold, flu, toothache, teething pain and menstrual cramps. Paracetamol also reduces fever in adults and children. This drug is usually used in patients who cannot take anti–inflammatory (e.g. due to stomach ulcer), as it is gentle on the stomach.
How Taken
Take Paracetamol exactly as pre-scripted by your doctor. Do not exceed the prescribed dosage as it can be very unsafe and life threatening.
Additional Information
Paracetamol may cause dizziness. These effects can worsen if Paracetamol is taken with alcohol or certain other drugs. Use Paracetamol with caution. Do not drive or perform other possibly dangerous tasks until you know how you respond to this medication. If your symptoms don't improve or if they worsen, visit your doctor. Paracetamol should be used only by the patient for whom it has been prescribed. Don't take less or more or take it more often than ordered by your doctor.
