Drug Uses
Zithromax is used for curing of infections caused by certain bacteria. It can also be used for other situations as determined by your physician.
How Taken
Use Zithromax as directed by your doctor. To clear up your infection completely, use Macrobid for the full course of healing. Keep taking it even if you feel better in a few days. Failure to do so may decrease the effectiveness of this curing and can increase the risk that the bacteria will no longer sensitive to Zithromax and will not be able to be treated by this or certain other antibacterial drugs in the future.
More Information
Zithromax may cause drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision, or lightheadedness. These effects may worsen if Zithromax is taken with alcohol or certain other medications. Take Zithromax with caution. Don't drive or perform other possibly unsafe tasks until you know how you respond to this product. If your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen, call your doctor. This drug should be used only by the patient for whom it has been determined. Don't take less or more or use it more often than directed by your physician.
