Drug Uses
Anafranil is indicated for curing obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). It may also be used for other conditions as advised by your physician.
How Taken
Take Anafranil as directed by your physician. To avoid stomach upset take Anafranil with a meal. It may take 2 - 3 weeks before you notice the effect of Anafranil. Continue taking Anafranil even if you feel better.
Additional Information
Anafranil may cause drowsiness, dizziness, or blurred vision. These effects can worsen if Anafranil is taken with alcohol or certain other medications. Take Anafranil with caution. Do not drive or perform other possibly dangerous tasks until you know how you respond to this medication. If your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen, call your doctor. Anafranil should be used only by the patient for whom it has been ordered. Don't take less or more or take it more often than directed by your doctor.
